Our Love Story

Emma met Tristan reluctantly. On a night that was supposed to be a girls night, Maid of Honour Abby invited her coworker, Groomsman Mitch, who invited Tristan along. Emma thought Tristan was incredibly handsome when she picked him up, but didn’t think he would feel the same. He did. The night ended with a kiss on Abby’s couch, who was DJing from the other room.

On a night out at a friends house, Tristan proclaimed Emma to be his girlfriend in a casual conversation. Not having spoken about this change to their relationship status, Emma clocked it immediately and confronted him later that night. He confirmed his intentions and she could not have been happier to accept. They spent the night at their friends house, talking late into the night. It was also the start of their nightly tradition of reading to each other.

Emma and Tristan celebrate one year of dating with a trip to Vancouver, not knowing it would become their home in less than a year.

Emma and Tristan move to Vancouver so Emma can pursue her Doctor of Pharmacy.
March 23, 2023
After much convincing and a million Kijiji ads from Emma, Tristan finally caves and they adopt their first kitten, Rosie.
October 1st, 2023
Emma decided Rosie needed a friend and so she started perusing facebook groups for a kitten to adopt. She saw a post for a 2-year old boy named Snow who was lonely, she showed him to Tristan and he fell in love. They brought Rosie to meet him in a park and they came home with their second cat, completing their little family.
July 27, 2024
On this day, Tristan got down on one knee to ask Emma to spend her life with him. Taking her on a picnic to Englishman River Falls, a beautiful waterfall that the couple had been to many times, but most notably on one of their first dates, Tristan surprised Emma with a ring and a promise.
July 4, 2026
After a long two years as fiancés, Tristan and Emma will finally tie the knot in front of their family and friends.
