FAQs

What date should I RSVP by?

We can't wait to celebrate with you! Please let us know if you'll be joining us by June 7, 2026. Your RSVP helps us plan for all the love, laughter, and memories we’ll share on our special day. Don’t forget to include your meal preferences and any special accommodations. Thank you!

What is the easiest way to get to and from the wedding venue?

Please note that there are no taxi or rideshare services available to or from the venue. To ensure everyone arrives safely and on time, we encourage guests to either drive or take advantage of the shuttle service we’ve arranged. More details about the shuttle schedule will be provided below. Thank you for planning ahead!

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel?

Yes. Details to come

Is there parking available near the venue?

Parking at the venue is limited as it is located in a residential neighborhood. We kindly ask guests to carpool or make use of the shuttle service we’ve arranged. Thank you for helping us minimize traffic and respect the neighborhood!

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Ceremony seating will open at 3:30 PM, with the ceremony starting promptly at 4:00 PM. Please arrive early to settle in and enjoy the moment with us!

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Our wedding will be outdoors, with the ceremony taking place under tree cover and the reception held in a tent. Vancouver Island in July is typically beautiful, but we recommend dressing comfortably for the weather and bringing a light layer, just in case!

What is the dress code?

We’d love for you to use our wedding as an opportunity to wear that formal attire you rarely get a chance to show off! Dress in what makes you feel your best—just no white, please. We can’t wait to see you looking fabulous!

What is the weather like in the area?

Early July on eastern Vancouver Island usually brings beautiful summer weather! Expect warm, sunny days with temperatures around 22–25°C (72–77°F) and cooler evenings around 10–14°C (50–57°F). Rain is rare but possible, so consider bringing a light layer or jacket for later in the day. A gentle coastal breeze will help keep things comfortable for our outdoor celebration!

What is the plan if it rains?

Rain isn’t likely to impact our wedding much, but if it does, you might get slightly wet during the ceremony under the tree cover. We’ll have a limited number of umbrellas available, but we recommend bringing your own just in case. Thank you for being prepared and embracing whatever weather the day brings!

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

We kindly ask that only the guests listed on your invitation attend. If you’ve been given a plus one, it will be noted on your invite. If you think we may have missed someone, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. Thank you for understanding!

Will there be an open bar?

Drinks will be available on a donation basis, with a suggested donation of $2 per drink. Your generosity is greatly appreciated and will help make our celebration even more special!

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Please let us know if you have any allergies or dietary restrictions when you RSVP. We will have meal options available for common dietary needs, including vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free (celiac) options.
